Why a festival?
Nati Wine Fest will be a celebration of natural wine and a midwest culture that loves a summer party. Ohio may not be the first suspect as a bastion for wine, but with the help of young restaurateurs, distributors, and avid consumers, a wine culture is brewing centered on low intervention principals of organic viticulture, native yeast fermentation, and a light tough in the cellar.
Better yet, natural wine culture is a touch more synonymous with fun, let’s say, and Ohioans crave a dose of amusement in their adult beverages. We’re putting together a full weekend of events around Cincinnati, with winemakers, wine industry pros, and local entrepreneurs, culminating in a grand tasting at Mom ‘n ‘em on Sunday, July 7 with 25+ winemakers in attendance.
We’re eager to share the first Nati Wine Fest with you and mark a turning point in Ohio’s wine culture.
